Homage To Martin Luther King

11” x 11”
A self-promotional piece for Sontag Bottoni Gibbs.
The intent of the publication is to eulogize Martin Luther King and pay homage to the Black Americans who took part in the civil rights movement during the mid 1950s and the late 1960s.
To make the booklet more physically interactive vertical photos were printed horizontally with the objective being the viewer would need to turn the booklet to correctly view the pictures. Of course, this never worked. An example of an idea going astray and design over-reach.
Photos are by Bill Sontag and Joe Bottoni.
