A sponsored competition initiated by the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati to draw attention to Cincinnati’s cultural sites. A total of twelve posters, from approximately ninety submissions, were judged and selected by Ivan Chermayeff. Of the twelve, four were designed by Joe Bottoni.

The “orange street map” indicates the location of Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market. The venue is known for its wide selection of produce, wares and restaurants.
