A two-day workshop and public lecture by acclaimed ceramic artist Paul Soldner.
Paul Soldner insisted that no photos of himself or of his work be shown on the poster. Instead, he wanted an interpretation of his work based on his statement, “I start with thrown classical forms and then by shoving, pulling, hitting and tearing I distort them.”
A side note. There are three tiny stars, two that are black and one being white, “hiding” along the rough linear edges. They are a “reward” for the viewers who take the time and effort to study the poster, instead of just giving it a cursory glance as they walk by it. This was the first time I had used such a device on a poster, but one I found advantageous to use throughout my career.
