Multiple Interaction Team
Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati
1973
18” x 24” Poster

“MIT” stands for Multiple Interaction Team and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

An exhibition-event prepared and curated by MIT’s Center of Advanced Visual Studies, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, featured experimental works by scientists interested in the visual arts and in creating science-based art forms.

Designed as a multi-purpose piece, printed on both sides on 110 lb. text paper instead of cover weight stock, some posters were scored and folded for mailing, and others were mounted side by side, alternating front and back sides to form a billboarding effect. A 9” x 16” mailer was fashioned by printing on both sides and scoring the poster vertically and horizontally and folding it into half and then into fourths.
